The bigger-kid years come with bigger feelings — packed schedules, tougher schoolwork, social ups and downs, and bodies that are changing fast. Our after-school yoga classes give tweens a place to put the backpack down, get out of their heads, and into their bodies.
In each class, kids move through age-appropriate poses and flows that build real strength, flexibility, and balance, then wind down with breathing and relaxation techniques they can actually use — before a test, after a hard day, or any time things feel like a lot. It's challenging enough to keep them engaged, but there's no competition and no bench: just their own mat, their own pace, and a supportive space to grow.
A stronger, more capable body — improved strength, flexibility, coordination, and posture (especially helpful for kids who sit hunched over desks and screens all day)
Tools to manage stress and big emotions — breathwork and mindfulness that calm the nervous system and help with anxiety, frustration, and overwhelm
Better focus — practiced attention that carries over into homework, sports, and the classroom
Real confidence — the quiet pride of doing something hard, getting a little better each week, and feeling at home in a changing body
A healthy reset — a screen-free hour to breathe, move, and just be a kid

Class FAQ

Each class is grouped by age so the pacing actually fits the kids in the room — toddlers get movement and songs, elementary-age kids get games and partner poses, and older kids get more breathwork and real strength-building.
If your child sits right on the line between two groups, email us and we'll tell you which room they'll do better in.

No. Most kids who walk in have never taken a yoga class before. Our teachers build every class around stories, games, and animal poses, so kids learn by playing rather than by being corrected. First-timers are genuinely welcome — you don't need to prep your child beforehand.

Comfortable clothes they can move in — leggings, shorts, a t-shirt. No zippers or stiff waistbands. Kids practice barefoot, so socks and shoes come off at the door. We provide mats and props, so there's nothing to buy before your first class. If your child has long hair, a hair tie helps. And be sure to bring a water bottle!

Class sizes stay small — so every child gets attention by name. It's one of the reasons families come to us instead of a big-box gym program.
